Graduation didn’t last long after that. Jonathan was no where to be found. Mom rushed me to the hospital, seeing as I sat next to her. When I got there, there was Jonathan. The gorgeous man was a nurse. Somehow, he was able to pull off the pale green scrubs. Mom insisted that I that I was put in a wheelchair. Mom and her boyfriend waited in the lobby as Jonathan pushed me through the E.R. I looked up at him. His hair had that amazing sheen to it and he wasn’t pale. He had a healthy glow to him now. I started to blush as I shied away from his focus. After a short pause I picked back up on his eyes. They were a bright red, almost glowing. No one really had red eyes. Or did they? Maybe it was some disease. I didn’t really know. I didn’t really care. I eventually worked my voice down to where it didn’t sound so nervous. “Want to go get something to eat?” My stuttering didn’t sound to convincing, but it must’ve worked.
